Applied and got right into my major...not that hard.
SAT: 1070 Female
UofD seems to encourage activity, the more you areJul 05 2003Political Science
UofD seems to encourage activity, the more you are interested in the better. e.g., if you are an athlete, tell them you would like to play sports there, if not, tell them you would like to be involved in the newspaper, a debate group, or you would like to participate in student government. From what I can tell, the UofD looks favorably on active students with a good g.p.a. more than that of an unactive student with a great g.p.a.
SAT: 1080 Male
Don't slack off senior year--UDel really keeps up withJun 01 2003Social Work
Don't slack off senior year--UDel really keeps up with its admitted students. Extracurricular activities helped for me, as did community service. Take the SATs and school work seriously, and take advantage of the essays on the applications. They allow for a lot of creativity, and there are a lot of opportunities to interject your personality and facts about yourself.
SAT: 1230 Female
I busted my ass throughout HSMay 27 2003Other
I busted my ass throughout HS. Test scores werent so hpt, but extra activities and grades were good.
ACT: 22 SAT: 1080 Female
Stay the weekend in the dorms!Apr 11 2003Biology
Stay the weekend in the dorms! There's absolutely no better way to really find out what student life is actually like than being there yourself. If you don't know anyone at the school, contacting the Dean's office might be a good start--they may be able to set you up with someone for a weekend.
SAT: 1250 Male
